Poems written in and reflective of solitude.

Keith Wilson (1927-2009) lived his entire life in New Mexico except for years served as a Navy combat veteran during the Korean War. He received a number of awards for his poetry, including a PEN American Center grant, a D.H. Lawrence Creative Writer Fellowship, a Westhafer Award, a Senior Fulbright-Hays Fellowship, and a National Endowment for the Arts Creative Writer Fellowship.

His two dozen books include Sketches for a New Mexico Hilltown, (1967), 11 Sequences, (1969), Graves Registry and Other Poems, (1969), Homestead, (1971), The Shadow of Our Bones, (1971), and While Dancing Feet Shatter the Earth, (1978).
