Chris Dempsey is a high school English teacher, former football coach, and frequent writing workshop instructor at The Cabin in Boise. He’s the recipient of several writing awards, including a Fellowship for "Excellence in Poetry" from the Idaho Commission on the Arts. Winter Horses is his first collection of poetry.
